Today we feature Gabrielle Harker, an actress spending her first summer at The Bigfork Summer Playhouse. Here’s Gabrielle’s interview!
Gabrielle Harker – Mechanicsburg, PA
How long have you been involved in theatre? I have been involved in theatre for 12 years. It all began with my love for sing-a-long Disney movies. I then started studying dance when I was three, and performed in my first production when I was eight years old. As you could imagine, I caught the theatre bug and have been hooked ever since!
How long have you been at Bigfork Summer Playhouse? This is my first time working for Bigfork Summer Playhouse and I could not be more excited and thankful! I auditioned at SETC in March and was called back for BSP’s summer season. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of the Thomsons and was thrilled to receive an offer from their company. I definitely made the right decision and I am so happy to be here!
What is your favorite thing to do in your “off” time while staying in Bigfork? “Off” time? What’s that?! 😉 I have enjoyed walking around the town of Bigfork during down time and exploring all of the beautiful sites. I am looking forward to spending time on Flathead Lake! However, my favorite thing so far has been getting Huckleberry coffee at Bear Food!
What else would you like to add? I will be a junior at Coastal Carolina University where I am currently pursuing my BFA in Musical Theatre.
