How long have you been involved in theatre?
I’ve been in the theatre world since I was in 3rd grade. My best friend told me that he would no longer be my friend if I didn’t audition for the school production of Midsummer Night’s Dream. I was cast as Snug and that’s where it all began. I continued my theatrical career as an actor through college. I had actually planned on going to college as a Musical Theatre B.F.A. student. At college, however, I discovered my love for Sound Design and Directing. Since then I have been nominated for several regional and national awards for my sound designs.
How long have you been at Bigfork Summer Playhouse?
This is my first season with BSP. I attended UPTAs this year where I interviewed with Don and Dwayne. I was really hoping to work for them. I got the call in the middle of a tech rehearsal for a production at my college. I was thrilled to get that call!
What is your favorite thing to do in your “off” time while staying in Bigfork?
I haven’t had too much off time yet, but I have really enjoyed hanging out at the Garden Bar with the company after work. The Bigfork Inn has also been a fun place to go after hours.
What else would you like to add?
This survey has been great and very thorough, but if you wouldn’t mind, I’d love to include a link to my website: www.JeffreySalerno.com. Thank you so much. (We’re happy to oblige, Jeffrey! – BSP Staff)
