Introducing Mallory King who’s excited to experience her first season at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse!
Mallory King – Cleveland, Ohio
How long have you been involved in theatre?
I actually started out as a dancer when I was 3 years old! (See photo at right.) I have always been interested in performing. I remember tap dancing in the kitchen. My family took me to see shows as a little girl. My family was more than willing to let me follow my dreams and do what I love. I knew that this was what I wanted to do!
I got more into theatre during high school and decided to audition for college musical theatre programs. I am currently attending Western Michigan University and working towards my BFA in Music Theatre Performance with a minor in Dance. (That’s me playing Christine in “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” in the photos below.)
How long have you been at Bigfork Summer Playhouse?
This is my first season! Woot!
What is your favorite thing to do in your “off” time while staying in Bigfork?
I love just spending time and watching some movies with the other company members! Bearfood is my favorite place to eat in town… I’m addicted to the BSP Veggie and Huckleberry ice cream. I’m sure I will do some more sight seeing once the shows open!
What else would you like to add?
I am very thankful for the opportunity to be here! I have learned so much from the experience so far and made some amazing friends along the way. This is going to be a great summer!
