What is your personal history with theatre?
My first experience in the theatre (not including the shows I put on during dinner as a child) was when I was 8 with the Galaxy Center for the Arts. I went to the Pinellas County Center for the Arts majoring in Musical Theatre for high school and am approaching my final year in the BFA Musical Theatre program at the University of Florida. Art has always been my passion whether it be on the stage, in the recording studio, on my floor with a paint brush, or anything else involving creation and I am so thrilled to begin living my dream with BSP!
This is my first year with the Bigfork Summer Playhouse. I first became acquainted with the Thomsons at SETC in 2013 and met the again at this year’s SETC.
What is your favorite thing to do in your “off” time while staying in Bigfork?
This being my first year here, I cannot wait to see Glacier National Park. In these first very busy weeks was able to eat lunch at the dock which had to be one of the most relaxing and decompressing times so far. The atmosphere here is gorgeous and I can’t wait to really take it all in.
What are your plans after the BFSP season ends?
After the BSP season ends, I’ll be returning to the University of Florida to finish out my degree. From there I plan to move to New York and pound the pavement!
