What is your personal history with theatre?

Nathan Cockroft from Greeley, Colorado and NYCI started acting in school and community productions at an early age, but it wasn’t until high school that I found a real passion for theater. I was challenged and inspired by my teachers and mentors who showed me the true art of theater.

I attended Oklahoma City University for my Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre, where I honed my skills in acting, singing, and dancing.

Since graduating, I have moved to New York City, and am pursuing a career there.

Bigfork Summer Playhouse was one of my first professional experiences, and I am so happy to be back for a another year!

How long have you been at Bigfork Summer Playhouse?

Nathan_Cockroft_3This is my second season at Bigfork Summer Playhouse! Last year was an incredible experience, so I was thrilled when they invited me to come back again this year. I can’t wait to make even more great memories!

What is your favorite thing to do in your “off” time while staying in Bigfork?

I love spending my time in the water and soaking up the sun. You’ll often find me at the Bigfork Bay dock or at Wayfarers enjoying the cool Flathead waters. Usually the best way to finish off a fun day is with ice cream from Sweet Peaks or a smoothie from Bear Foods.

What are your plans after the BSP season ends?

After the season ends, I will be returning to New York to continue auditioning!
