Accessibility
The Bigfork Summer Playhouse and Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre are committed to providing access and assistance to those with disabilities. Unfortunately we perform in a venue that we do not own, so sometimes accessibility issues are not in our control. Please call our Accessibility Coordinator, Jude Thomson at the Box office at 406-837-4886 or tickets@bigforksummerplayhouse.com to ask questions or get information regarding accessibility.
Parking and Ramped Access
Accessible parking on Electric Avenue. Handicapped parking across the street in front of the Bigfork Museum is clearly marked. There is a good drop off spot on the south side of the building in the alley with ramped access to the sidewalk and to the middle part of the auditorium.
Elevators
Elevator access is not necessary as all events are on ground level and the main floor.
Wheelchair Seating
There are a number of wheelchair seats at the back of the auditorium. Please advise us in advance if you need access to those seats as prior arrangements need to be made with the box office. Seating chart will indicate the locations of handicap accessible seating at the rear, but will not be available to purchase online. There are additional seats available in the same section for wheelchair companions.
no wheelchairs or walkers provided by the Bigfork Summer Playhouse or Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre.
Assisted Listening Devices
Assisted listening devices are available at no charge with the ‘ransom’ of a driver’s license or credit card, to be returned when listening device is returned. Request the devices at the Box Office.
Additional seating in Lobby. In our lobby, we have several places for wheelchair and assisted walking devices, both while waiting and to store during performance. Our spacious lobby has many padded benches available for sitting prior to and after the performances.
Restrooms-Our restrooms are handicapped accessible with remote open doors. The Ladies restroom has a changing station. Both restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
